daughter's '95 CS.
When her stat went south the temp gauge barely moved off the bottom. New stat and she's at 7:30 to 8, same as my car.
Last week when the temps were higher in western NY, I was seeing about 8 to 8:30 on my car, now it's back down.
Last summer with the old radiator, I sat in construction traffic in 95 degree weather on the NY Thruway for over an hour and the gauge stayed at 8 o'clock.
What I don't understand is how if you begin to overheat the gauge goes up. Where are the sensors placed so the ECU knows what's going on?
