Sounds like both the 9-5s you drove had a suspension problem. Probably bad rear shocks which tend to wear quickly on the 9-5. Or maybe they just had crappy tires...

I own a 9000 with full sports suspension including lowering springs and adj. koni shocks and my parents recently got an '05 9-5 with the Aero suspension. I've actually been surprised at how nimble and taught it was on the road. Very direct steering However I agree on the interior. Even with the optional dark wood dash the 9-5 interior seemed a lot cheaper than in my 12 year old 9000. Especially the plastic on top of the dash, around the speaker grills etc. Seemed cheap, thin and too flexible. Same with the stalks...

But I can't agree at all on the handling, even compared to my modified 9000 which handles a lot better than a stock 9k Aero! And no, the 325 isn't even close to the 9-5 regarding size and interior space!
