Response regarding fuel and vaccuum Posted by dbreid [Email] (#1192) [Profile/Gallery] (more from dbreid) on Fri, 6 Jun 2008 09:28:06 In Reply to: Re: Boost not quite making it to red?, Ari [Profile/Gallery] , Fri, 6 Jun 2008 06:45:38 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I am always running the best fuel I can get, which in California is unfortunately 91. But I never skimp and always run the highest I can get.
Where is the best spot to check for leaks, and what is the best process? Maybe I missed something?
Also, When I pulled the old plugs (which were also the correct NGK's) there was no excessive carbon buildup and they looked pretty good. Of course the car has 170K on it, so it isn't supposed to be a spring chicken, but I just want to make sure it is running as well as it can.
So you don't think it could be my BPC valve?
Thanks very much for the thoughtful and helpful responses so far.
