Dang felt flaps over taillight housings...

Pictogram was showing a taillight problem so I went to pull the lamp housings to see what I could. I pulled the cutout flap of trunkliner back as far as it would go, reached in and unclipped the light housing and went to pull it out into the trunk. It didn't want to come and I figured I just needed to wrestle it gently. Well, no way was there room to get it out, and gentle me broke the 1157 bulb out of its base, dangling by the wires. Had to undo electric wires from housing, wrestle it all out, then pry remains of bulb base out with needle nose pliers.
Saab never cut those flaps free enough to open enough to get the lamp bases out! I took a toothed Ginsu style knife I keep in my tool bag and cut the top and bottom cuts another 1 1/2-2" over to corner of trunk, both sides, and now each opens easily enough to pull the lamp unit out and swing it into trunk to examine and change any bad bulbs.
Changed both 1157s with new Hungarian made ones, then turn signal started fast-flashing; one bulb had somehow dropped a filament. (Looked cheap and Chinese though almost new.) New Narva bulb there, everything works and display now shows no bulb problems.
