First two thoughts are:
-CV joints
-Lower Control Arm Bushings.
Does it happen when you start forward after going backwards? Doe sit happen only turning one way? Does the sound come from one side or the other? Does the sound come from under the car, or am I over-thinking this and it's in the steering wheel itself?
More people will chime in if you give a bit more info.
Also, do a search of the bulletin board. I'm sure there's some discussion on this in the archives.
Best,
Peter
