The Xenons on my car are a separate aftermarket kit. One thing to watch - if you install xenons on your DOT headlights, and later install Euro lights, you will need to get a different Xenon bulb. The ballasts should be ok. I bought my xenons on everyones favorite auction site, where you can currently also buy what look like real Euro spec 9000 headlights and clear corners for $300 - a steal, IMO. Just verify that they really are Euro spec (Euro spec take H1 bulbs for high & low beam). You can get xenons from about $75-???. I paid $170 a couple of years ago, because I wanted a German made ballast. I can't honsetly say they are any better than ballasts made in a developing country, but I figured they were worth the extra $50 at the time. Installation is not bad, headlights you could definitely do in 1/2 hour, I had my indy install the xenons, but I would say that could be done in 1-2 hrs by a moderately competent person with 1-2 hrs to spare. A less expensive alternative may be to just do xenons in your DOT headlights. It would probably be the least expensive solution of all. The stock bulbs in the 9000 foglights are H3 and quite good; I don't know if there really are many better solutions, unless you go with yellow to reduce glare in fog/snow (is yellow legal in fogs in NH??? I don't know!) Those bulbs are also a pain to change...
