That makes sense. I figured the vacuum aided something in the TB, and when it was broken, the spring tension was transferred to the gas pedal.
Now, since the cruise control on my car worked as recently as the night before this happened, is it safe to say that the front left safety valve is operational.
Thanks for clearing up the fog for me a bit. I can see that if the safety valve is giving the TCS ECU bad data, it can't help but give bad instructions to the TB.
