Well, anything is possible. I have topped up coolant (routnine stuff, nothing was wrong), but I didn't investigate thoroughly.
I think my next plan is to:
1.) Remove the Overflow tank, and wash the heck out of it. Reinstall.
2.) Detorque all of the head bolts to 40, then replace them one at a time, and then retorque the whole head down to spec.
3.) Replace the valve cover gasket while I am in there.
4.) Flush the whole cooling system.
5.) Change the oil
And see where we are.
That is a pretty good set of preventative measures, I'd think. And if that fails, then I'll have my answer, I guess?
