Why are you replacing the timing chain?
> Because I am thinking I am gonna need to do the head gasket, and I am a believer in doing all the stuff I should while I am "in there".
How many miles on the car?

What year?

Any modifications?
>Bone stock except SAS sways. I have gone to great lengths to keep the car performing as stock. I like it that way, and plan to keep it that way.
What is the long term outlook for the car - keep it forever, or limp it along another few years?
>I like the car, and plan to keep it "forever." Forever, not because I am some sort of fanatic, but because I like the car, how it drives, and plan to keep it for roughly 5+ years. Maybe more, but at least that far. I also like the peace of mind that comes from getting it right and not wondering if in the middle of a road trip, the car will die.
