You didn't mention the year of the car, and I assume has a manual ACC (Knobs). eEuroparts has the ACC controller (http://www.eeuroparts.com/Main/PartDetail.aspx?id=4632477)
The controller is on the driver's side (LHD cars) of the blower motor. With the aquarium cover off, you'll see a connector on the driver's side of the blower - pull it out; that's the resistor pack.
What do you mean by intermittent? I'd suspect the fan speed selector switch before the resistor pack. The resistor pack is just that - a few coils of wire acting as resistors; they either work or they don't. I could see the switch getting funny. Instead of replacing it, I'd pull it out and spray some contact cleaner into it.
Year? ACC or manual fan control? And I assume it's the cabin blower motor you're talking about.
