I thought a lot about this, and I think that if you:
1.) Have the marks on the cam sprockets lined up with the arrows on the cam caps.
2.) Have the little hash marks on the cams themselves lined up with the little recess marks on the end cap.
3.) Have 15 chain bars between the marks on the Cam sprockets.
4.) Have the Crank at TDC (the 0 lines up with the groove on the tranny)
AND:
You manually rotate the engine a few times and everything still lines up the same...
It is impossible to have timing that is off.
I am still in the process of reassembly, so I'll tell you how mine runs when I finish putting it all back. :)
