Well...
morning comes, and with it higher temps... and with that... the hopes that something frozen will have un froze...
look under car, for the heck of it...
puddle of oil, fresh...
looks to be dripping from the rear of the engine... it's elongated and running towards the front of the car due to a slight slope of the driveway
the amount is probably less than a single quart...
there are 3 small drips of green coolant visible on the bottom of the oil pan. not that that's as big a problem as the oil, but...
coolant in res is green, and liquidy enough not to make me think it's all frozen still...
engine is cranking as normal... sputtering every once and a while
tach bouncing slightly between zero and 200-300rpm
a few times it sounded like it wanted to catch, but sounded bad, like a chainsaw...
haven't checked rotor spinning or spark yet... need a friend for that, and going somewhere else, to think about someTHING else, for a while... while i consider how much money i don't have to spend on this...
back to that noise...
it was a CLUNK... sort of mixed with a bang...
like you dropped an anvil on another anvil... literally...
any ideas?
i can't push it in all the snow on my driveway until i get a hand, i have a garage it can go in, unheated... and... maybe get it up and look under it.
in the meantime... thoughts?
