Hi again... slow day at work. I have a problem with my 95 Aero fouling the #1 spark plug. I have been tracking down problems on this since I got it in Jan, so here's another one. I had a slow HG leak near cyl 3&4 (common ooze down the corner). I thought I had nipped it by re-torquing the head bolts, but all the following clues lead me to believe there's still an internal leak:
1 - loosing coolant... approx 1/2 reservoir / wk
2 - lower compression on cyl 1 (180-205-205-185)
3 - keep fouling plug 1 with crusty hard greenish corrosion
This problem has already cost me one DI, so I'm down to one spare. Do you guys think it's head gasket time? I have replaced the radiator and torqued all the hose clamps down. There is no green juice anywhere on the engine, including the throttle body. Anybody ever use that liquid HG repair. Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen... just checking.
