from your post in March...
"I recently put in some NGK Iridiums because it was all the local mega-parts store had. At $7 a pop, needless to say I wasn't happy but I needed plugs so what was I to do. The car is a '95 Aero with a known leaking HG and 175K miles. I saw improvement in the idle and boost response after the plug change until yesterday. I have maybe 1000 miles on these plugs and it sounded like it was running on 3 cyls at startup. Smelled like gas for a bit, but after a min or so running leveled out and I took it on the road. Boosting past a few psi made the car run like crap again. I pulled the plugs and noticed that cyl 1&2 plugs were nice and tan, but cyl 3&4 were bright white."
Is this the same car? All three variants of the 2.3 engine with turbo are LOW COMPRESSION engines (9.25 to 1), you shouldn't be near 200 psi unless the previous owner had the head milled. From experience with other engines implementing turbochargers, I would guess that most turbo engines clock in the range 160 to 180 psi.
From the sound of your posts, that head was badly warped from thermal damage, and should have been discarded, not machined. IMHO, find yourself a new cylinder head and hand it to a competent machinist. Have a few beers, park the car until you're ready to work on it. A new cylinder head will be the shortest path to peace of mind.
