Sadly, I did get a ScanTech part, not the FTE. Generally, I've had good luck with ScanTech stuff, but I"ve never dealt with a Clutch Master of theirs. I hope it's alright.
I replaced the master as I had this exact issue on my wife's (now dead) 9000S and a new master solved the problem. As fluid itself didn't seem to be leaking, I assumed it was (is) the master. Also, when I bought the car, the master was "stuck" and took some pressure to depress. Given this, and the fact that water seemed to have gotten to that part of the car (killed the brake light switch, too), I went with replacing it.
However, It COULD be the slave or the line, I suppose, although in both cases, I would think that fluid in the reservoir would have been low as it would be leaking. The master having internal seals that would preclude this leaking...
I'll try bleeding it with a "pressure bleeder" and will see what happens.
Thanks for the information... I'll keep you (and everyone else) posted.
