On my '87 it was easy with just a breaker bar. On an '86 I used a 6' pipe with a friend and I both leaning on it at full force until the breaker bar broke. Hopefully you'll be okay, but be prepared that it could be on there tight. Why not try breaking it lose before you start the job so you'll know?

The nut is designed to distort on installation such that it resists coming lose, hence it is intended to be used only once. I've had a nut back out and it just wouldn't stay tight without re-torquing every few weeks, so I think there is some truth to this, and the bearing can be damaged by a lose nut. Worst case, you could install with your old nut, or a new one from eEuro or whatever and putting that on on when you get it.
