A cupholder would be nice, really. Crutchfield offers a universal DIN pocket with all the trimmings that might be the easiest way to go. I've not disassembled the dash or the console, and I'd rather not. (It's never the same, you know.)
I just googled "DIN blank panel" thanks to Mike Johnson....now why didn't I think of that before? I'd be happy to drill the holes, and ideally find the right things at an electronics store to make the adapter to my MP3 player a simple one, but that's something I can figure out.
Since I am new here, should I introduce myself more properly with the car and how I am now driving it in another thread?
