My guess is fuel pump. In my experience and also from other related stories the DI Cassette (red thing on top of engine) normally die after shutting down engine and engine the nrefuses to fire on re-start. Occassionally, I have heard (and experienced) a DI cassette causing issues under higher boost pressures (breaking down - electrically that is). Hmmm...crank sensor...not unheard of but I feel less likely. Fuel pump is easy to test/check by any reasonable mechanic. Check for a higher pitch whirring sound as ignition is set to the position just before engine start. No whirring sound, most likely fuel pump. Mechanic can quickly check for fuel pressure. Di Cassette can be quyickly checked with a replacement unit from a local Saab shop. Good luck. They are a great car.
