Hello,
Yesterday, when I started my car, the key turned further than it should to start up, making a awful sound in the engine(?) when it started. I was able to turn it slightly back from the position, and drove it to my local garage. They seemed to think that it is something fairly easy to remedy with the part, but I am wondering a little about what exactly happened. I have driven the car since - back home - doing the same thing with a little turn back when I started the car.
Could anyone explain exactly what has happened in a case like this. I know not very much about cars.
Thank you.
