Ehhh?!
With the Maptun software/tuning kit you would get only base boost if you dont install the APCvalve. Thats 0,4 bar. So its not about being safe, you need it to get the boost....Why buy new software to get baseboost?
Abbott uses a stronger wastegate instead of the APCvalve (on some of their mods), hence they have a mechanically controlled boost when Maptun and others that use the APCvalve controll the boost levels using the ECU.
