I am pretty sure the charging system on my 91 9000s, is faulty. Battery drains after a couple hours time, and even with Brand new Battery the voltmeter never exceeds 11.9 volts, and steadily drops from there until car dies around 8 volts. I assume it is the alternator. Are component parts (diodes etc) available, or are rebuilt units available reasonably priced. And can an alternator be tested by an amateur with a digital multimeter???. Any help/leads appreciated. Brett
