Nothing wrong with that, just is not a common viewpoint from my readings!

Wish I could say I went from the Saab to metal masters, so I could make some kind of comparison, but my progression is as follows:

Set 1, came on the car: All Saab discs and Saab pads

Performance: front discs warped, loads of brake dust, good performance but didn't seem anything special


Set 2, installed by me: Brembo discs and Frictiontech pads all around, stainless steel lines installed about halfway through the life of these. Seemed to give better pedal feel, not much else..

Performance: front discs warped, very low brake dust, better performance but still not outstanding, good price


Set 3, installed partially by me, currently using: ATE discs in front, cross drilled (only 30 holes) with metal master pads, Balo rotors in rear with Textar pads

Performance: more dust than the Frictiontech pads, but still much less than the Saab pads. Other than that's this is by FAR the best combination yet, much more stopping power and no fade.



If my cross drilled fronts warp before they wear too thin, I'll look into other options, such as cryogenically treating them. And, probably would go with the ATE Power Disc front and rear, possibly metal masters in ther rear also.
