I used the long extension to remove the top bolt from underneath which is on the back side of the alternator after loosening it from the top(tight clearance for hand)with an open end 12mm. The wires connected to the alternator are-1 connector type and the main wire with either 12mm or 13mm(1/2"). No need to remove power steering pulley. Belt tensioner loosens by placing extension into square hole and turning appropriate direction to slacken belt. Plan ahead! Good luck!
