Keep in mind that the most 9000s came with 195/60 series tires. The early ones are something of odd balls for have the 205/55s and I don't believe anything was diferent in the speedometer hardware. I think that there is actually a conversion written on the speedometer face. Combine this with your slightly wider wheels and a natural (required?) tendency for speedometers to read high and this could account for much of the error. Perhaps anyway. I have a hand help GPS reciever that I use for outdoors type stuff that can read average and real time speed very accuartly. If I remember, I will do a few runs, say with the cruise set at an indicated 60 and see what the GPS reads over some averaged intervals.
