I have a minor correction. As it is, the order is the following: the pressure screw ring --> rubber gasket ---> the pump ---> rubber gasket ---> rim of the tank. Thus, it is not as bad as rubber to rubber contact. But it is not good since 1) I have two gaskets insteads of one new one; 2) the old gasket is not replace which is between the pump and the rim of the tank.
I think I will fix this.
As always, it takes longer than I planned to fix something.
BTW, I did not mention that I broke the return valve and had to rebuild an one but combining part of the pressure value and the broken return valve. I don't think the board is interested in such detailed info. But just be careful with the valves when working on the pump!
