I agree with trannys , you just never know. I have a 92 9k w/auto . Previous owner had all work serviced at dealer with all records, so I know what was done. ALL fluids were changed every 10k ,Yes even the oil !!
I was concerned of the engine oil , but I now run Mobil 1 and i only burn 1/2 quart every 5k . I consider that good. I love my 9k and hope to run it forever. By the way I have 157k on mine with the original tranny, and no springs or seals changed yet. HMMM do I change them or the tranny ? Thats the question I dont know !
