I have a 92 9k griffin, and the one time I had it go into limp home mode was when I emersed the car in flooded street. Unlike everyone else that has had their 9k go into limp home mode, I was able to drive at full speed. When the tcs ctl light came on the car died, I restarted it and it ran rough but then I noticed the gas pedal got really hard, but I was able to get back upto 65mph to make it home with no problem. I looked under the hood and could see that there was a backup throttle cable that was engaged when the tcs light came on. I have an automatic. Is it possilbe my cars able is out of adjustment because I was able to go 65 and faster? I am not complaining, just curious why no-one else seems to be able to go more than 5-15mph in limp home.
Thanks,
Jeffla
