Looking on some info for cleaning fuel injectors. The ideal case would be not having to remove them from the car. What options are there for cleaning them from the fuel rail? Also what is the procedure for removing them from the engine and cleaning them out of the engine? Do you need to replace the o-ring seals to the intake manifold? Someone recently posted about the procedure in the Haynes manual for doing this and actually seeing the spray patterns but I can't seem to find it in my manual. Is this a good idea on a car with 100k miles, is it even necessary? I'm hunting down my 2500 rpm intermitent miss on acceleration with light load, below base boost. This miss seems to be plauging many others. Done plugs, DI, dielectric grease on connectors. The only thing else is maybe the wastegate sticking or the TPS. Thanks for any input.
