condition these days. All are pretty well engineered to give about the life on the warranty-or less in most cases. But it has been my experience investing in a long watrranty battery is ludicrous, as most fail after about a relatively short while. There are a few high quality batteries out there but you are buying mostly name and an insurance policy. You may take the battery to a marine dealer and have it deep cycled ONCE and see if things improve with it.
You may also clean and check the posts and the Car battery interface connection and grounds near the starter and on the transmission. these could be high resistance causing the alternator to work hard.
