... especially the late 80s early 90s GTI and GLI. Buy it, you won't be sorry. If you don't, tell me where *I* can buy it, I'm looking for a similar car, as a matter of fact. Used to have a 95 Passat GLX with VR6, upgraded shocks and tires, exhaust, sway bar, etc., that car was a blast, I miss it. Saabs are nice, turbo is nice, but so far for my money VW has it going on for sheer driving fun. Not the fastest cars, but flat out speed isn't that thrilling for me, I like tossing it in turns and accelerating to 5k rpms in 2nd and 3rd gear, and VW's are born to do this.
