I am a new owner of a 1997 9000 CS, picked up at the Saturn/Saab dealership yesterday. In doing a test drive last Tuesday, the ACC was not working and the dealership replaced the fan motor. It was working fine when I left the dealership. An hour later it did not work, and we drove home with the windows open, but could feel cool air coming from the vents. So the compressor is working. First thing this morning, I started the car, it went through a calibration sequence and it seemed to be working again. Later in the morning, I went out a second time and the fan is not working. I have read the manual, done the calibration test twice, with no faults showing. But there is no discernable air movement.
I am wondering if one of the sensors is defective. The info gives me accurate outside temp. Any ideas, comments or help would be appreciated.
