I'm resigned to taking the turbo off - again! Not soon, though. In the
meantime, I picked up one of those internal washers - similar to the
one that's used on the control flap for the heat/ac box. I've seen that
turbo at night after a highway run - it's a mini-nova! With my love of
boost on the highway, I'm sure that hinge lever for the waste gate is seeing some pretty extreme temperatures. Hopefully, this metal
washer will do the trick and leave my boost intact for the SOG in
New Hampshire. I've got a lot of other priorities to attend to, so I just
may wait until I change my oil and flush my cooling system to tackle
this turbo problem. Anyway, thanks guys for the response - JJ, are you going up to NH? It'd be fun to link up with a convoy of Saabs and
go where the temperature may be a little cooler, eh?
