Dragsters have something, or rather have less of something, than you. Exhaust system. In most cases, they have a set of exhaust headers open to the air. Just a few feet. No mufflers. They also don't have emissions controls. When they close the throttle, they get an overrich mixture that dumps gas into exhaust. Since it's running very hot and the pipes are very short, there is plenty of oxygen to mix with, and you get flames.
You would need to shorten the exhaust system as much as possible, and remove anything that would block flow, like a muffler. If you have a muffler and you get the ignition between the engine and muffler, you'll get an explosion that could blow off the exhaust system and risk a fire.
OK, you probably don't want to hear this, and I don't usually say this, but this is a stupid idea. It's dangerous, and anybody you'd impress with this trick is lower on the food chain than moss.
Have a nice day!
