That switch has two sets of contacts- the medium pressure switch to turn on the fan, and an overpressure switch to turn off the AC. I'm pretty sure that the medium pressure switch only controls the low speed fan, so disconnecting THAT LEAD won't hurt anything.
What I'm going to do when I get home is check out the wiring on my '92 to see if the high side of the relay is energized with the ignition key out. I'll also be able to check the AC wiring schematics to see exactly how the switch is wired. If you're willing to wait a day or so, I'll post the results.
