Better shifting or less vibration? I bought both SuperFlex bushes and only fitted the rear one when I saw how much less compliant the front one was. I got a good gearchange and no noticeable increase in vibration (I'm not very sensitive to noise and vibration). However, for the ultimate in smoothness, OEM rubber mounts are probably the way to go. Saab, believe it or not, actually know a thing or two about building a refined car.
The general concensus on this board seems to be that if you are worried about vibration, don't use poly bushes on the top mounting. If you want to make things a bit tighter and are prepared to risk some vibration, replace one with poly and only do both if you want the ultimate in gearshift performance and don't care how much vibration you get.
It seems also that results vary from car to car.
