Once the door panel is off, lock removal is pretty straightforward. The door handle is held on with two bolts. One bolt goes out the 'back', and is on the jamb side of the door. The other bolt goes in through the door into the front of the handle - to access that, you take off the door inner panel, peel back the plastic (the window should be up), and the bolt location is pretty obvious. The door handle now comes off in your hand.
With the door handle off, you can just pop the lock cylinder out. it consists of a tumbler assembly inside a metal can, with a lever bolted to the back. Leave the tumbler inside the metal can! Removing it will cause some springs to fly, and reassembly isn't pretty. Just swap those metal cylinders.
Getting the inside door panel off is the longest part.
