99s did not have factory radios, I believe all were dealer installed. The 99 Turbo (and EMS and GLE) did come with the speakers in the front doors and the wiring factory installed. The "official dealer radio box" (as Doug mentioned) was a direct replacement for the panel in the middle of the under-dash and it included an ash tray below the radio. It is difficult to find one of these that is not broken at the mounting ears. Cars with AC got a different box, but same idea. The dealer then had a selection of "Saab" radios to offer - my Turbo had a "Saab" 8-track tape player in it when I got it. There were also various aftermarket radio boxes. If you get stuck let me know as I have a couple of those around.
