Re: Stall while driving, fuel pump?? Posted by Gary Stottler [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Re: Stall while driving, fuel pump??, Jawerdna ![]() |
The service manual lists the Bosch PN as 0 580 254 994. I think that pump has spade terminals. For some cars (Turbo) with screw terminals the Bosch PN is 0 580 254 984. I would suggest searching for the pump by Bosch PN as those pumps likely had other applications besides Saab 99. In a quick search, Bosch lists 0 580 254 202 as a direct replacement for both of the Saab PNs (see https://www.bosch-classic.com/de/media/pdfs/downloads/mini_kataloge/benzinsysteme_1/minikatalog_kraftstoffpumpe.pdf) It looks like that pump is available for ~$220.
I suspect that you may have more/other problems. The fuel leakage you describe is more likely the fuel line/banjo bolt/sealing washers than the pump itself. The 99 fuse panel is famous for things loosing contact and causing electrical failures. So you might try the "fuse roll" on the fuel pump fuse. Of course regardless you will need to fix the fuel leak.
Best,
Gary
