Maybe he can clue you in on details such as pricing and parts resources.
Purist maybe, but I had a few reasons to keep the 75 as is. I wanted to keep it 75 99% stock(concourse car), getting new hubs, spindles, and driveshafts would have added extra cost to the restoration, and I figured if the car got 28 years out of the original bearings, then there was no reason why the replacements wouldn't last that long either. I only have $3500 in this car, and that includes the $1000 purchase price. Where can you buy a "new" 75 99EMS for that kind of money? The car will probably out live me.:)
I wasn't so pure with the 73 though....changed the color, chromed and/or polished everything, killer sound system, power mirrors, carpeted trunk....
I just find it easier to go "by the book" sometimes....doing mods takes some serious thinking, which gives me a headache.:)
