I run incas on my 1976 with 1987 900 hubs and brakes with vented rotors. Remember that the hubs are different for the vented rotors as well as the calipers. You could still use your new calipers but would have to swap the yokes over from a later version. The inner workings are exactly the same. If you hesitate using used calipers, you could simply buy them to have a spare set and swap the yokes to your new set. It would require a tear down, more or less, but you could then say you know them inside and out and feel confident about their state. OR you could spend the 20.00 and rebuild the used calipers.
The master cylinder change was from cast to...well, non-cast versions. They both will work in your car. When my '76 cylinder went south, I used the cast cylinder from an 85 900 as a replacement. They are identical. maybe something on the inside is slightly different (I don't want to put foot in mouth) but it works and looks just like the original.
Another difference between the 99 and 900 spindles is the positioning of the tie rod connecting arm. You will have to get an alignment real soon...no driving down lowly country road to see how your new system works. Just plan on going directly to an alignment shop as soon as you are done. I know this is a good idea whenever you have front end work done but if you change the spindles it will be a must.
