"Everyone" has been telling me it's the cam. Now if it is the D-jet, then a modern FI system on a B-engine would fly. So has anyone gone nuts and put a modern system on their engines? BTW, my 1976 has an 8-cog. Been that way since I bought it in 1983. Could have been a retrofit, don't know.
Is the compression ratio different from d-jet to k-jet era? So should I stop my search for the elusive '74 cam?
