Bob, It isn't worth arguing a point that already has been resolved by a fellow 99er. This board is about helping each other out. I've been involved in many of these parts controversies many times. I've also admitted when I have been confused or wrong in the past on this board. How many Times have you replaced a 99 seal yourself??? As I said, I've done this twice, last time being two years back. If your Saab Parts guy gave you other information, call a Saab Parts dept that understands and knows how to use the superceed procedure. I'm not mistaken in any way at all about this! Bob, do your homework before you make such strong statements about my memory. Again, I'll try to simplify the Windshields....It is as If you took a 99 windshield, and heated it(like a glassblower) and altered its' shape. The outside dimensions are the same. The cross width on both the top, and bottom are both the same. It is made up by the plus and minus of the two shapes in the end. Oliver, I'm in the middle of a home purchase . Send me an Email. and I'll get you the numbers when I can, if you want. Oliver, don't sweat this one bit. Bob is completely wrong about this, and is giving advice about something he obviously has no experience at. You can easily obtain the upgraded and better 99 (900) seal from Saab.
