I've been offered $6500+ for my restored '73.
I also sold a '75 EMS here in the classifieds in 2004 for $10,600(Pictures linked)
I guess you have to push rarity of the 99's to the insurance company. That certainly can make the prices command a little more. Out of the almost 600,000 99's produced worldwide, the numbers have easily dwindled to under 1000. I bet there are less than 100-200 still driveable in the states.
