Replacing Timing Gears: What else should I do?

So I'm pulling my engine out to replace the three timing gears since the two original fiber gears stripped completely (ugly). I've got a complete engine overhaul gasket set, and I'm definitely going to replace the oil pan (sump) gasket, the front cover gasket, and the valve cover gaskets (which definately leak currently). What else should I do short a complete engine rebuild while I have my engine out and it's easy? The engine was sounding and running great with no excessive smoke in the exhaust to speak of until the timing gears broke. The head gaskets might leak....I can't tell if it's just the valve cover gaskets leaking down onto the head gasket area. I want to get the engine in the best shape I can with minimal (of course) effort. What other main things go wrong with these engines about when the timing gears wear out? The engine has (I think) 160,000 miles on it, and a brand new weber carb that I installed and runs great. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.
