Hi Glenn,
Your installation looks good. Glad to see you have full fuel flow to the carb.
These V4's tend to be pretty simple- unless they're not! Basics are fuel and spark. A couple of things to check:
1. When someone pumps the accelerator pedal, can you look down the carb and see/smell gas? If not, then it's a carb problem. If yes, then spark is likely the problem.
2. Carb problem- is the electric connection SOV on the side of the carb (item 25 on the carb exploded view) connected to 12V? It must be. Next, I'd pull the top off the carb and see if there's fuel in the bowl. If there is, is it at the right level? If not, then what's stopping it- the carb input filter clogged (item 2) or the needle stuck (item 9)? Fix accordingly
3. Spark- pull a plug, smell for fresh fuel. If sopping with fuel, clean all the plugs. If not too bad, check for spark- lay the plug metal body against the engine and have someone turn over the engine and check for spark. No spark? Does the car have points or Pertronix? etc
Good luck! Just be methodical- one thing at a time, take notes on what you see and do.
