The "jet" in the idle circuit is a hole in the side of the carb body throat that the idle screws threads in and out of. There is no replaceable jet for the idle circuit.
If the throttle linkage is holding the throttle open, fix it, otherwise it will never work correctly. When I fitted the 28/36 DCD Weber 2-barrel on my V-4 years ago, I had to modify my throttle linkage (there wasn't any in the kit form SAAB's Competition Department). On the long rod between the heater housing and the manifold, I heated the joint on one of the bellcranks enough to melt the brazing and rotated it on the shaft so that it operated the linkage the right way. I think the old Solex was pushed by the linkage and it had to pull the Weber linkage. I also had to fabricate a bracket to hold the pivot on the top of the manifold and the position of the bracket effected how the bellcrank worked.
