Really BAD experience with Saab Reanimator

Just a warning. I was recommended to go to these guys because of their rock bottom prices and friendly attitude. I brought a 95 900s in for a pre-purchase inspection. The woman at the desk is extremely chatty and nice and when I picked up the car they said that it really needed a tune up, but other than that it was totally clean and it was a good buy at $6K. Based on their recommendations, I bought the car. Two weeks later, I brought the car in for the recommended tune up. I get a phone call later that day telling me that my car doesn't need a tune up at all. What it does need is a new fuel distributer ($425), rear brakes ($250), and new transmission (the dreaded reverse gear) for $3100! When I told them that I just brought the car in the week before for a pre- purchase. He looked kinda sheepish and said "What can I say...Saabs break." I was so pissed off, I could barely see straight. Obviously, Saabs break, but I never would have bought a BROKEN one! I'm having the sad, expensive repair work done at Planet Saab. True, they're very busy and their hourly is higher, but I've gotten no BS and they have been honest and responsive to my concerns. I've learned my lesson. They maybe cheaper, but I'd say steer clear of the idiots at Reanimator!
