Natalie,

You ask what else could go wrong. Here are some items that I had to deal with that you should keep in mind. My car has 85k and needed the following:

- Idler Pulley. When you change engine belt... as a precaution within the next 20k miles I would do this and replace the two idler pulleys. Plastic idler pulleys can 'melt' with very little warning. (~$100 for parts & this should be a pretty easy DYI)
- If you start seeing black smoke in your exhaust, probably O2 sensor or DI or both. Either will trip the check engine light. Go to Autozone and get the check engine codes and try to determine what it is. If you let this go too long, it can destroy the catalytic converter and your muffler. No guarantees on DI, even though you replaced it recently. Suspect both DI & O2 sensor when you see black smoke. Black smoke means engine is burning rich fuel. When there is an error on the O2 sensor, the ECU defaults to rich fuel mixture. Unburnt fuel can do bad things to you cat. (DI = $125 - $300, O2's $150 - $250 x 2. DI is real easy, O2 is pretty tough DIY)
- My AC had a slow leak. I couldn't find it. So I just recharged. ($4 for R134a can and easy DIY)
- Watch for coolant leaks. If you get low coolant SID message every other month, there is a good indication that you are losing coolant somewhere significant and it will become critical. At around 100k or earlier, you may want to replace all the hoses and clamps as a precaution. My car blew a heater hose, and then headgasket leaked. 4 common areas of coolant leaks on NG900's: 1. Loose clamps, 2. Cracked Hose, 3. Headgasket, 4. Heater core... (Headgasket is $1000 at shop, I did it for about $300 parts and machine shop. Most hoses are DYIable for around $150 in parts.)
- Your hood emblems may peal off pretty soon. $30+ each at your Saab dealer for replacement.
- You may experience disappearing pixels in your SID. (I just live with mine).
- Your motor mounts may go. (~$40 - $150, DIYable)

Barring catastrophic failure on Tranny or engine (My engine blew last week), you should be ok for a while, especially if you can do some of the work yourself.
