It was tough for me, because I couldn't find where the leads go. When I finally figured out, I had to take off the coolant hoses to reach some of the retaining clips. While this isn't as tough as a headgasket, it does require knowledge and time. So I won't disagree with you there. If I had to do it over again, it will be much easier :)
