Hmmmm. Do you smell gas from there? You might also want to clean the throttle body/idle control valve/change vacuum hoses/crankcase vent hoses. It seems a lot of the V6 problems are solved not by one magic cure but by an accumulation of this sort of routine maintenance thing. Is it starting okay? I don't recall an o-ring on the FPR, but its been two years since I did mine.
Check the 'shrader' valve, its like an air valve on a tire but its on the fuel rail about two inches from the FPR with a black screw on cap, they use it to check fuel pressure. See if its leaking while the engine is running, just unscrew the cap and look if there's gas dribbling out.
Is it a huge power loss, like the TCS is engaging? or just something you noticed recently?
